Born in 1995 in Mpumalanga, Tebogo Stephen Langa was raised in a small town called Mokopane in South Africa Limpopo province. Practicing in Johannesburg, Langa is a contemporary South African artist specializing in various media such as charcoal, watercolour, acrylic, and soft pastel. Langa studied at Tshwane North College in Pretoria and obtained his Diploma in Art & Design in 2018. His work often explores and uses emotive nuances as he focuses and visually retells of personal tales from people of all walks of life.
Langa is currently completing his second-year class of professional printmaking excellence at artist proof studio. Langa was selected as one of the top 3 artists of THE ITWEB BRAINSTORM ART CALENDAR 2020 sponsored by HUAWEI and IOCO. Furthermore, Langa has participated in a number of exhibitions and prestigious fairs such as the Johannesburg Art Fair, Moving into Dance group exhibition, South African Print Art Fair and was also selected t for the TLC Student Lockdown Collection of 2020.
